Linda Comminos – National Board Certified Educator
Art Educator, Facilitator, Endorsements in Mathematics, Science and Social Sciences

 

Linda Comminos is a dynamic educator that combines inventive hands-on learning experiences with standard based contemporary strategies to enhance student learning within and outside the classroom.  An educator who combines the theories and practices of art across curriculum thus demonstrating the effectiveness and impact art may have within other disciplines. 

An accomplished National Board Certified Teacher certified in both Early Middle Childhood and Early Adolescent to Young Adulthood classifications and is an Illinois Master Teacher certified in Early Childhood, Elementary, and Secondary levels.  She is a facilitator and mentor for National Board for Professional Teaching Standards at the Chicago Teachers Union Quest Center providing professional development workshops for National Board candidates.

Linda Comminos is a recipient of a Fulbright Memorial Fund three week study in Japan, exploring the teaching methods within their educational system.  She possess endorsements in Mathematics, Science, Art, and Social Sciences that provide the instructional background for the development of an art curriculum and a collaborative teaching relationship to the other disciplines.
